About Us
Hi, my name is Paula Thomas, I am a food lover and that is how the romance with pastry began. After years working in the office environment, I decided to pursue the Culinary Arts world. I graduated in 2005 from The Art Institute of Colorado and expended my knowledge of pastry at the Notter School of Pastry Arts in Orlando, Florida.
As an independent pastry chef I started Teacup with the dream of creating beautiful and yummy desserts and cakes to fit the style of each of our clients and their event, while keeping true to our beliefs of running a sustainable, natural, organic business and supporting the local economy. The name came from my love for teacups and what they represent, classic and timeless creations.
I love making pastries and beautiful cakes and I pay close attention to each and every aspect of the process from the selection of the ingredients we use to the way we display each of our final products. I love working one on one with each client and therefore limit myself to the amount of events we take a week.
Thank you for stopping by, We would love to hear from you!
